Rapture explores the fear of impermanence and the effect of modern day city living on the individual. It tells the story of Ash, a young man who is unable to accept his own mortality and habitually escapes into a fantasy world founded on romantic cliché and media based artifice. But when he is confronted with the reality of death, these fears gradually invade his fantasy world at first causing him to lose control but finally forcing him to confront his own mortality. |
