Eric Shepherd (Mike Stanley) comes to realize that the doxital drug he has been injected with causes a series of bizarre side effects. His longtime friend Laura leaves Eric, unable to confront him regarding the truth behind the doxital. Meanwhile, doxital patients escape from the Mt. Clemens Hospital for the criminally insane.
