Joey has fallen in love with the Monkey Girl, a pink sock monkey. One day she disappears, and he reads her final dream, which he had transcribed into her dream journal, albeit without knowing the details of what he was writing in her secret language. He was in a trance at the time. Through a process of hyper-meditation, he reconstructs the dream and finds some peace. He continues to pursue his hobbies- collecting bent washer, writing poetry in the backyard using golf tees, making mobile sculptures out of cold cuts, etc. |
