Wolfgang tries, unsuccessfully, to meet women by chatting them up in a grocery store; Melanie goes out with a series of men she meets through personal ads, and each of them is a disappointment. At the end of every day, Wolfgang and Melanie compare notes, offer each other encouragement, and then fall asleep. What is their relationship? Will either of them find the love they’re searching for? Meanwhile, Wolfgang’s grocery-store conversations have repercussions for the women he’s approached. |
