Gabe, a brilliant film school graduate, wants to make a noir movie, but there’s just one problem: no one wants to give him funding. After a chance encounter with laundromat thief Gideon, Gabe knows what to do: he and his crew will shoot their movie guerilla style, robbing convenience stores, filming the whole thing and then explaining afterwards to the people they’ve just robbed. There’s just one little problem: Gideon starts keeping the money (hey, old habits die hard). Now the filmmakers are wanted felons, with the police hot on their trail. |
