This should’ve been a good movie, but it wasn’t. The pace was too slow and frankly uninteresting. The idea was good for a story, but the execution was flawed. The genre of serial killer vs. the police, is big in China, but this sub-genre has been done to the bone. The main actress needs to go back to acting school, and learn how not to overact. ALL of the cast should. You didn’t get the impression that all the people involved took the matter seriously, despite its seriousness. People are not wearing gloves on a crime scenes, or suit to prevent transfer. Really! Almost 2 hours of boredom, for an ending was totally anticlimactic. And the very last scenes, what the heck was that? In all, there are better movies out there, with the same scenario. Pass on this one.
