Details:

Haro Senft, Edgar Reitz and Peter Schamoni represent freedom and independency in German film art. By branding father’s cinema as dead they initiated and signed the so called “Oberhausener Manifest” in 1962, giving birth to the “Young German Film”. In three interviews they tell how they rebelled against the conventions in film industry in early 60’s which led to a new era of free film making in Germany, overcoming its international insignificance.
