For over twenty years the Austin Lounge Lizards have crisscrossed the nation to dominate the musical niche known as satirical bluegrass. Fans across the country know tunes like HIGHWAY CAFE OF THE DAMNED, PAINT ME ON VELVET and OLD BLEVINS by heart. In spring of 2000 the Lizards celebrated their twentieth anniversary with a sold out, special guest packed show at Austin’s legendary blues club, Antone’s.
