In the late 1950s Brisbane, anonymous poems began showing up in a Brisbane cafe causing quite a stir. Some fifty years on, renowned Australian poet, Rupert McCall sheds some light on this mysterious figure known only as The Brisbane Bard. Sometimes the fact gets tangled up with the fiction as Rupert uncovers about a time now gone, of loss and of how carefully we consider exactly what it is that we love about the cities we live in. |
