The Malodorous was discovered by Bears Bureau a secret society that has been keeping the discovery top secret as a protection to the human race. The Beast resides in a location that is inaccessible. The only entry is by air via an entrance gateway, a “vortex”. The vortex can only be found with an exact bearing, a bearing that changes randomly keeping the concealed town impossible to locate, whilst also keeping the Malodorous at bay. The Bureau does have the knowledge and equipment to locate and enter the gateway. This was used when associates of the bureau disclosed information of a trapped male. A rescue mission was put in place, the result was a success, although the bureau did learn that leaving back through the gateway is more difficult. After the male disclosed new information he was promptly employed by the bureau, becoming a valuable asset to the organisation. This chain of events confirmed that only one Malodorous exists and lead to the bureau gaining knowledge that the it lives among a different race, Mingirks. Three other humans were also discovered to be trapped there. Two of these the bureau recruited to work undercover from inside the town to secure the Malodorous to its boundaries, reducing the risk of public exposure. Until now… A secret associate has informed the commander of the bureau, that the Malodorous is at risk of exposure through escape, its goal… new human brains in abundance, naive to its nature, it has begun by opening up attack, capturing and holding prisoner the third remaining human, a female, Miss Coverley. The bureau has now been forced to take action, another rescue mission with the decision made to eliminate the Malodorous permanently for the sake of mankind. Operation “Coverley Recovery”…. |
