What do three English as Second Language students from Tokyo, Bangkok and Istanbul have in common? In 2005, Andy London conducted 60 interviews asking his students why did they come to New York and why do they stay. Out of 60 interviews, three interviews were chosen. And then three actors were cast to play the people Andy interviewed. The end result is a narrative short with a documentary bent of transplanted lives in New York City. |
