Last semester I created a mini-documentary about the CTA Red Line for my Writing and Rhetoric II class. The assignment was to find a subculture in Chicago, observing them to make an ethnography. Through a series of assignments, I decided to make a mini-documentary about moments on the Red Line. After interviewing several colleagues and friends, I created an audio/visual montage, combining the Chicago Red Line footage overlapping their dialogue. Looking back on it now, I love this documentary! |
