On the way to an asylum centre in South Yorkshire Ilyas, a refugee from Chechnya, inadvertently gets abandoned at a service station on the motorway. As he seeks to find his way to his new home he meets Doug a former coal miner who is living rough. Through their chance encounter stories of dislocation and abandonment emerge in a ways that are violent, humorous and poetic. |
