After hearing about child trafficking, our production team visited “at risk” children in communities of adverse poverty in Southeast Asia in January of 2011. We also visited safe-homes where rescued children are cared for, loved, restored and educated to secure a safe future for them. We intended to use the footage that we shot for our own educational purposes. But soon realized that as filmmakers we had the responsibility to share what we learned and bring attention to the horrors of child sex trafficking. Part one of this short documentary represents what we saw and learned first hand about the issue. As we continued to explore we found out that kids are sold for sex in every country, in every community regardless of their social, economical or ethnic background INCLUDING THE UNITED STATES. The second part of this short documentary film sheds light on the realities in our own back yard and points to some of the solutions. We have partnered with the LAPD, the FBI and on the field workers to gain special access and insight to the situation and bring it to the public eye through this film. UN has informed us that thousands of children are being exploited at known locations and could be rescued today, but are left to endure their fate, as there are too few safe-homes and trained aftercare specialist. We are committed to respond by providing funds for the building of safe-homes, training caregivers and placing targeted prevention efforts on the ground in high-risk areas around the globe, including the US. Through our non-profit organization - Love Never Fails World Charity, we are effectively using our talents, our resources and our media projects, to ERADICATE Child Trafficking. |
