How does one instrument decides the lives of Holland’s greatest guitarists? Filmmaker Erik de Bruyn follows Henny Vrienten on a quest with the giants of Dutch pop and rock to answer that question. The guitar players are Jan Akkerman, Harry Sacksioni, Arthur Ebeling, JB Meijers, Anne Soldaat, Daniël Lohues, George Kooymans, Eelco Gelling, Jan Hendriks, Anton Goudsmid, Rudy de Queljoe and Pablo van de Poel. Director Erik de Bruyn, also a musician, and Vrienten take us to unexpected places, the intimate domain of the musicians and their beloved instruments. |
