Badger Creek will follow three generation of the Momberg family, Pikuni/Blackfeet living on the reservation in northwestern Montana. They practice a traditional Blackfeet cultural lifestyle, including sending their children to a Blackfeet language immersion school, participating in Blackfeet spiritual ceremonies and maintaining a Blackfeet worldview. Living under one roof, we will witness the family’s three generations - grandfather and grandmother Buzz and Glenda, parents Christina and Spencer, eldest son Michael, 18, and his younger siblings Justine, 13, and Goonskoo, 6, along with the cousins and aunts and uncles who frequently drop by as they work hard, participate in the rich cultural and spiritual life of their tribe, relearn their language, love, laugh and support each other through the good and the hard times.
