One August afternoon, two college graduates - Amanda and David - cross paths outside their old elementary school. Amanda is paying one last visit before leaving for graduate school, and David works as a groundskeeper. After getting acquainted, David invites Amanda inside the school, where the two explore the place of their childhood. From the hallways to the classrooms, gymnasium to the library, David and Amanda reminisce about personal memories, and if they ever met as kids - and if not, they wonder how things would have turned out if they had. By the end, Amanda reveals she has to leave, but David is nostalgic and glued to his hometown. The two part ways in a bittersweet fashion, making their relationship a brief but memorable experience. |
