Where lives, languages and hearts intersect, Foreign Language explores the words we use within the worlds we inhabit—from life and love, to death and despair. While two German girlfriends negotiate to save an unborn life, a dying Greek mother reveals her sickness to her Arabic daughter; and while a married couple’s relationship comes to an end, a young couple (who speak separate languages) is coming together. A heartfelt drama of four overlapping, multilingual dialogs, this short film reveals that the heart only speaks one language. |
