INSIDE SALUTE follows the drama’s behind the scenes of the International award winning documentary “SALUTE”. Before the film was complete and out in Cinema’s across America, 4 people being interviewed for the film Lost their lives, including Peter Norman who the film was to honor. The film had it’s own drama to get made. We take a close look at how making a film about an event in history wasn’t as easy as first thought. How did the Hollywood system attempt to take the film from the filmmaker, working with sharks (the money hungry ones not the swimming ones), the death of Peter Norman, the reaction, the surprises, the let downs, the greed, the monster behind the curtain. |
