Because of his extreme provocations at school, the fifteen-year-old Julius is sent to a special program for behavioural change. He fights the modern hypocrisy preached by his supervisors and his recently divorced parents; he sees no reason to change his ways for others. Seriously addressed by all these adults, especially warning him for the great of dope he smokes, Julius out argues everyone trying to convince him to at least change his ways for himself. When Julius meets the physical limits of his rebellion, the situation explodes beyond his control. Is he able to stay true to his ideal of not surrendering to having to change to fit the system, but to be released from the program altogether?
