When Dr. Emil Lanfield is convicted of the murder of his nurse, newspaper-reporter Steve Manninon becomes interested in the doctor’s daughter, Elsa, and keeps digging into the case. With the aid of a friend, he gets enough evidence to get a re-trial but before this happens, the doctor’s dying wife confesses she shot the nurse in a jealous rage. End of film? Not quite. |
