Open the Classroom Door provides an insider’s glimpse into the growing outdoor classroom movement and its power to transform the public education experience. Although centered in San Francisco, the film engages viewers in imagining what our country would be like if all students had access to public education that inspires and nourishes. What our cities and communities would be like if public schools served as centers of environmental sustainability and community involvement. What our children would be like if they had access to nature and healthy food as a regular part of their school day. We invite you to be inspired and to open the classroom door. |
