This project chronicles the acquisition of a new airplane for a medical flight service in the heart of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The film highlights fundraising in the U.S., including conversations with a group of of people from an economically depressed section of Dayton, Ohio, who collected money for the plane. It then transitions to the Congo, to showcase the plane in action, and to see the various developments in poor, rural regions of the country that have been made possible by the flight service. |
