When 12-year old Miles develops a big crush on the first-chair clarinet girl in his band class, he must overcome not only his own self-consciousness about approaching her at the upcoming school dance, but also his mother’s subtle attempts of sabotage as she struggles with letting her son grow up. ‘Love Lessons for Miles’ is a bittersweet coming-of-age story about a twelve-year old boy and a mother as they learn to navigate through the pitfalls of love and life in their own different ways. |
