‘Something’ is the second installment in a three part experimental travel essay series exploring the human condition at different stages in one woman’s life. The filmmaker takes you on a journey through Europe and Japan while simultaneously taking you through her inner most thoughts about loss, love, and hope. the perils and triumphs of solitary travel are humorously and passionately expressed in this deeply personal and yet universal film. Loosely inspired by Chris Marker’s ‘Sans Soleil’. This films uses haunting visual imagery coupled with emotionally honest narration to tell the continuing story of hope. |
