In a world where technology and information coincide, being connected to the world wide web allows for databases to be breached, and computer systems to be compromised. Certain information, sensitive information, cannot be allowed to be accessed at any time from the Internet. This type of information can only be recorded on paper, and filed and controlled by only one person. When a high ranking official requests the information, the controller of the data must pass it on verbally, face to face, and to only those with clearance to hear. These Sensitive Information Controllers, or S.I.C.’s, are housed at anonymous and random locations. The power of information lies in the hands of only a small number of people with PLAUSABLE DENIABILITY. In this story, a S.I.C. is to be tested and seduced by those who might seek to destroy America.
