The film combines the archived footage and still images of the Holocaust, Rwanda and Darfur genocide with testimonies of the Holocaust survivors to establish a parallel between the ongoing crisis in Darfur and the Holocaust. As the film’s title points out, ignorance cannot be used as an excuse for not helping out because “this time we can’t say (that) we didn’t know”. |
