A successful scientist close to discovering the cure for schizophrenia has a laboratory accident and ends up acquiring the disorder himself. He begins having visions of a ‘perfect’ woman, and soon falls in love. When he cures schizophrenia, however, he must choose between the continuation of his burgeoning career or trusting in his own mind and following through on personal happiness. Blending elements of magical realism and psychology, the short film explores what it means to find satisfaction within oneself as opposed to from outside sources. |
