Moxie and Sheafor are the ringleaders in a truck hijacking spree, Moxie and his gang who hijack the trucks along the state highways, and Sheafor who fences the stolen foods from the trucks. When the highway patrol ramp up their efforts to catch the hijackers, Moxie figures they have to come up with a different procedure to achieve their same goal. When Moxie learns that a naive young man named Eddie works for the Cassidy meat packing plant in their truck loading area, Moxie believes they can use Eddie to hijack Cassidy trucks in a clandestine manner, and ultimately sell the meat. The scheme works, but the police are sure that the truckload of meat that disappeared was an inside job. The case takes a turn when the meat, which was not stored properly after Moxie hijacked it, starts to make its way to consumers, which results in mass illness and a few deaths. As the hijackers feel the police may get to Eddie, Moxie has to figure out a way to keep Eddie quiet. Meanwhile, the police believe they’ve figured out a way to nab the culprits which in turn would stop the distribution of the spoiled and deadly meat. |
