Symposium is a tragicomedy about love, hypocrisy, and the kindness of strangers. Two strangers - Doug (Gianmarco Soresi), a man with the motto carpe diem inscribed on his soul, and Ellie (Sarah Steele), a disillusioned young woman with some relationship baggage - meet while waiting for the bus late one evening and share their beliefs on love. They say goodbye, expecting to never meet again, until Doug decides to take Ellie’s romantic fate into his own hands. |
