“El Revés del Tapiz de la Locura” offers a view of mental health issues from the other side of the looking glass. A number of patients diagnosed with mental health conditions run “Radio Nikosia” in Barcelona, Spain, which allows them to break down barriers of isolation and incomprehension with the so-called sane world. In this documentary, the patients interview anthropologists, journalists, and mental health professionals, challenging preconceptions and demanding that their voices be heard. |
