Details:

The 18th century had been characterized as the era of the ‘Bloody Code’ with growing opposition to inhumane treatment of convicted prisoners. ‘Labody Prison’, the most prestigious prison in the United States was deemed “the worst prison of the dark era” even causing suspicions from the British Empire. Due to the mysteries behind its walls, in 1777 John Howard called for wide-ranging reforms of state prisons and personally went to the ‘Labody’ to investigate. To his amazement, he found no trace of cruelty or inhuman treatment of any kind, yet the inmates were found extremely disturbed. The first half of the 19th century represented a watershed in the history of state punishment, however because ‘Labody’ had not violated any inspection rules, the unexplained events that caused such disturbances remained. Howard quoted: ‘Labody Prison’ contains no injustice to it’s inhabitants of any kind, what places nightmares in the innocent shall remain a mystery” Through the eyes of new arrival ‘John Schiller’, Labody’s secrets are soon to be discovered and that such particular rumors are unproven, however, Schiller uncovers an even more traumatizing element unknown to the outside world. This element will throw him into a nightmare and at the expense of Schiller’s own deterioration and “Green Demise”.
