Pomelo is about a young guy with Asperger’s Syndrome who uses his obsessive attention to detail as a superpower when taking his shot at winning the girl of his dreams. In the film, Pete (played by New York native Shawn Hawkins) finds the courage to overcome his personal infirmities (as he refers to it) and approach Sam (played by former Miss Nashville Katie Callaway) in a coffee bar. What entails is a story of two people from different worlds that discover love doesn’t have to be so black and white. Sometimes love is in the details. |
