God's Own Country (2007)

God’s Own Country Movie is the powerful story of Ike Ajayi a young lawyer who leaves Lagos, Nigeria in search of his piece of the American pie. Upon arriving in New York, Ike finds out that his life in North America is not how he thought it would be. Ike finds solace in a beautiful friendship with an African Diaspora Queen named Diara but their friendship and burgeoning love is put to the test against an explosive backdrop of money, 419 hustlers, greed, betrayal and violence.
