To Face The Sun is a snap in the life of a modern young woman diagnosed with infertility. The camera observes with obsession and time irreversibly goes by. It’s a harsh film, with a lot of space for the watcher to fill. It is an attempt to show from the outside the psychic reactions of a person facing a hard truth for herself. In its rough cutting and de-synchronization, it seeks to transmit a feeling of the mind trapped in speeding times and synthetic urban environments, down towards transfiguration. |
