With jump cuts to each scene, the filmmaker puts the viewer in the position of feeling like they are there but without an actual body there. The film depicts how we can be silent just like film, creating an analogy for how we are silent sometimes and our materials, the way we look, and how we fit in society determines how people judge us. In the film, these are simple everyday objects yet just by looking at them, we associate them with certain meaning. |
