Comedy Gigs (2012)

Comedy Gigs is a truthful look at the bottom end of Stand Up Comedy. It is the opposite end of the spectrum to the TV prime time Live at the London Apollo, or HBO specials from Madison Square Gardens, instead focusing on those gigs that play out at the back end of pubs to a handful of disgruntled locals. Centered around Rob Jenkins, a Stand Up hopeful trying it out for the first time, the horrors and awkwardness of standing up in front of a room full of (sometimes hostile) strangers and trying to make them laugh makes for great viewing to those with a dark sense of humor.
