Young Glenn Morris excels at track and field events in college and hopes to reach the Olympics as a distance runner. But his skills are so wide ranging that he decides to try out for the decathlon, ten events covering the range of track sports. Training at home and at school, Morris finally reaches the Berlin Olympics of 1936 and sets a world record in the decathlon. |
