Hung (Thien Nguyen) is a car mechanic who lives with his mother, An (Thu Nguyen) and brother, Tuan (Khiem Ly) in Cabramatta. He holds a secret; Hung has chronic hepatitis B. The Vietnamese community tension rises when Cabramatta is labelled as a hotspot of hep B. Hung’s world falls apart when renowned Vietnamese doctor Minh (Vico Thai) is allegedly assaulted by Hung’s gang. Outcast; he loses his love interested, Mai (Yen Le) and his family and friendships are torn apart. Hung rises to the challenge by evoking the legend of Le Loi and the magical turtle. He joins forces with Bich (Maria Tran), best friend, Long (Ian Tran) and his entourage to reunite the Vietnamese community.
