Sole is a silent movie that challenges the effects that industrialization and mass production are having on the creative industry. It was the director’s belief that today’s attitude of warning things quicker, faster and a greater quantity has left the average consumer accepting ‘factory made’ products (fashion - top shop, film Transformers, music - American Idol) thus leaving true creative artists in the dark, clinging onto the last remaining people who still see the real beauty in something unique and inspiring. |
