ON 06 May 2013, Stephen Chen collides the angel sculpture in Frankfurt, Germany that memorializes the persecution of homosexual men and women under the Third Reich with Marlene Dietrich (who rose to fame in the film ‘Blue Angel’, a gay and lesbian icon, and staunch detractor of the Nazi regime) by performing her signature song 12 times at random intervals at the memorial, one for each year of the Third Reich. |
