13th & Pearl is set against the backdrop of Denver’s bohemian Capitol Hill neighborhood. A group of small business owners are forced to band together when their new landlord unveils some eccentric ideas for redeveloping their block. Kate, the manager of the local dive bar, finds herself thrust into the role of community leader for a band of misfits that includes an aging punk rocker who runs a record store, a short order cook with a mysterious past, and a bookseller so anti-commercial that his shop doesn’t even have a sign. Together they have to discover if they have what it takes to save their block, and if the block is even worth saving. |
