The story off Craig “The Cowboy” Cooper’s (Steve M Allen) battle with Dilbert Heller-King (Scott Linley) to achieve the lofty position of World Buckaroo© Champion. We start with introductions to the private lives of Dilbert and his mother, the pretentious Fanny (Maureen Jepson) then are introduced to Craig and his ex-champ, alcoholic father Bernard “Cool Hands” Cooper (Malcolm Allen). This is told through indepth interviews by Victoria Starky (Joanne Allen). The history of the competition is narrated by Wayne Cantancar (Darryl Gears) the championship founder. Whilst the story centre’s around the battle for the top spot between Dilbert and Craig we also get a taste of the competition’s other competitors, Titas D’Spore (Davey Dave David) and “Camp” David Spidz (David FREDDIE Aldred). We also learn of the extent of Fanny’s corrupt methods to use mob influence to help Dilbert retain his top spot. With the help of Al La Lone (Alistair Gears) will she be successful? Throughout the competition love finds a way for Bernard to claw his way back from the brink of an alcoholic induced life sentence finding true love with the upper class Lady Regina Kumquat (Caroline Taylor). We also learn of the Zoological interests of Ed Masters (Richie Pinder) the competitions resident referee. This is the first attempt at film making by Scott Linley and Steve Allen.
