All Lolita wants to do is make her Native American grandfather proud. Too bad her idea of making him proud is trying to perform a ridiculous rain dance when the reservation they live on is struck by a devastating drought. It also doesn’t help that Lolita exhibits the attitude of an over-zealous white, suburban teenager. Her home, even complete with the classic white picket fence and lush, green lawn contrasted by the desolation of the Cheromanchequois reservation she resides in. Lolita’s grandfather naturally is embarrassed as in what appears to be painfully common for him having to watch her and her ‘hippie-dippie ideals’. |
