Exploring L.A.P.D. officer White’s struggle with a new found thirst for delivering a severe form of justice, in 1950s Los Angeles. White finds himself caught between his need to satisfy that thirst and his desire to protect the reputation of the department. Captain Harris serves not only as White’s superior but also as his mentor. Harris has been on the force for thirty years and has a reputation for being relentless in his pursuit of justice. Over the course of his career, Harris has been quietly inducting ‘qualified’ officers into a secret group that operates below the radar. When he learns of White’s new found thirst, he seizes the opportunity to expand his circle and makes White an offer he ultimately cannot refuse.
