Nice love story. Listen to your own heart, not others opinions. A bit over acted in areas, but I liked the cast. I’d watch it again.
I watched this when it was released therefore I was 22 years old and I fell in love with their love. I thought the acting was very convincing but I was much younger then. If I were to watch it now I may feel differently. Reading your comment, I might just do that. Thanks for your post
This movie is the definition of eloquent. It is so symbolic of young love, tragedy and learning the true gift of acceptance. It’s a film I revisit every couple of years to remind me of how wonderful it is to feel deeply, be connected and find the truth of another and an inroad to their very existence, yet learn about yourself. Classic. It’s probably Christian Slater’s finest role, it introduces a very young Rosie Perez and highlights the talent of beautiful Marisa Tomei.
