At the top of his game and revered by the dance industry, Martine Duchamp is married to a prima ballerina and expects a baby girl. The stars are aligned. With only his maternal manager, Eva, as confidant, Martine continues to suffer from the accident, fighting hallucinations and pain by abusing prescription drugs. His reveries continuously reinforce his guilt for throwing away his wife and his new-born child, yet something propels him towards the opening night’s performance: the persistence of the Blond, the beautiful manifestation of his vision to reach the peak of his potential, to complete the final act, no matter the cost.
