After they dock no one greets them. The winch is broken. The lamps are clean and refilled; the table’s laid for dinner. There’s an upturned chair, 2 sets of yellow oilskins are missing - the 3 men have vanished. |

Intense movie! 5/5.
Bit boring….
This was a good psychological Thriller. Great cast. Very intense and kept me intrigued.
Excellent movie! It was very intense and there were quite a few scenes that made me gasp in horror.
The general belief behind the story is all three men were most likely washed out to sea. So, literary license must have been taken because the movie showed the fate of two of the men with the third just floating around in a boat.
Their actions definitely took its toll on them with Thomas seemingly already hardened by tragedy, the only anchor in a sea of panic.
Peter Mullan has always been a superb actor.
Gerard Butler has become a very good actor and is aging like a fine wine.
