This is one of those movies Dafoe loves to do when he feels like making art and saying to hell with the box office and well defined plots. Slow, beautiful, oblique.
A great watch if you’re in the mood to take time for a flick that doesn’t spoonfeed but makes you decide wtf it all meant. Definitely not for the average moviegoer. 7.5/10
