‘Jumping to Solutions’ is the story of the lesbian couple Leslie and Safiya, the latter a Lebanese student facing deportation on account of an expired visa. The most immediate solution she sees securing her status and relationship with Leslie is to marry into citizenship. She can’t marry her lover, however, as that would be illegal as well. Leslie soon finds a friend, Rick, who agrees to marry Safi. It’s only upon their meeting, however, that he makes it clear to them it’s his drug dealer roommate, Rocco who would be the groom. |
